Behind The Artist

Clarette Soh

About me…

Clarette (pronounced: Clare-rette) is an experienced hair and makeup artist with a passion for creativity and a talent for bringing out the natural beauty in YOU! With over a decade of experience styling hair for events and six years of experience as a professional makeup artist, Clarette has developed a reputation for excellence in her field.

Clarette's journey as an artist began with her love of painting, which eventually led her to explore the world of makeup artistry. She quickly discovered that makeup was not only a way to enhance a person's features but also a means of expressing oneself creatively. She has since honed her skills, learning new techniques and staying up-to-date with the latest trends to offer her clients the best possible experience.

Consistant weddings, events, editorials, and television work has given her the attention to detail and the drive to provide exceptional results. Clarette's goal is to help you feel confident and beautiful, whether you are walking down the aisle, posing for a photoshoot, or appearing on camera. In addition to her extensive experience in hair styling and makeup for events, she has spent the last 4 years upskilling in the hairdressing industry (haircuts, colours, highlights etc.) at Hairluxx Boutique salon in Torbay. As a fully qualified hairdresser, she can bring her expertise and knowledge to provide professional advice, not only on the hair style, but also the health of your hair.

Whether you're getting ready for your wedding day, a special event, or a photo shoot, Clarette is ready to help you look and feel your best. She believes that you deserve to feel confident and beautiful, and she will work tirelessly to help you achieve that goal.
